Clioswap fees

For a MAYAChain swap between external chains, the wallet pays source-chain gas, and the protocol deducts an outbound fee from the swap output for the destination transfer. Gas rates and transaction size affect these charges; the outbound fee also includes a protocol fee multiplier. On a refund, the return transfer instead incurs the source chain's outbound fee, deducted from the input. MAYAChain lets interfaces specify an optional affiliate percentage, which it deducts from the inbound swap amount when charged. ClioSwap names affiliate charges in its reimbursement terms. Those terms don't give separate rates for these components or identify the promotional 0.5% figure as an affiliate-only rate.

MAYAChain's continuous liquidity pools apply liquidity-sensitive fees, with a slip-based fee rate that rises as each pool swap's size grows relative to pool depth. An asset-to-asset swap through two pools incurs this fee in each pool, reducing the output. CACAO pays transaction fees on MAYAChain and is the settlement token in its pools. That network-specific role doesn't establish the asset or amount needed for gas on another blockchain.
